How to Create a Notification Plan in SimpliTrain

SimpliTrain allows organizations to create automated notification plans that are triggered by specific events, such as class enrollments, cancellations, or reminders. These plans ensure timely communication with learners, instructors, and other stakeholders.

Steps to Create a Notification Plan

1. Access the Notification Section
   1. Navigate to the Notification section from the main menu.
   2. Click on Create Notification Plan to open the Create Notification Plan page.

2. Fill in Basic Information (1)
   1. Enter a Name and Description for the notification plan.
3. Select a Trigger Event (2)
   1. Choose a trigger event from the dropdown list.
      1. Examples of trigger events include:
         1. Class Enrollment Created
         2. Class Enrollment Canceled
         3. Class Start Time Reminder

4. Define Notification Roles
   1. Specify Who Triggers(3) the notification (e.g., instructor, admin).

   1. Define the From Address, CC, and Subject for the notification plan.
6. Customize the Notification Text
   1. Use the Notification Text section to draft a personalized message.
   2. Include any necessary information relevant to the trigger event.
7. Assign to Organization
   1. Select the organization (Parent/Child) where the notification plan will be used.
8. Save the Notification Plan
   1. Click Save to finalize the notification plan.
